Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Sales & Advisor to join our growing team. You will be supported by strong carrier relationships, experienced internal teams, and established agency resources, while having the opportunity to grow and manage your own book of commercial business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, present, and explain customized insurance programs including general liability, commercial auto, property, workers’ compensation, umbrella, and industry-specific coverages.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — quoting, proposing, negotiating, closing, and onboarding new commercial accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by maintaining strong client relationships, supporting renewals, identifying coverage gaps, and pursuing cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal account management and service teams to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Stay current on carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Active state Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Previous commercial insurance sales or advisory experience preferred.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and commission structure.
  • Company-paid medical insurance with a company-contributed Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
  • A variety of voluntary benefits to fit your individual needs.
  • Company-contributed 401(k) plan to support long-term financial goals.
  • Access to top national and regional commercial carriers.
  • Marketing, training, and internal support to help you grow and retain your book of business.
  • A collaborative, experienced, and supportive agency culture.
  • Flexibility to manage your schedule and client relationships.
